This news brings with it a great sigh of great relief to the law aspirants across the country. The Consortium of National Law Universities decided to postpone the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 which was earlier scheduled on June 13.
The official notification of The Consortium of National Law Universities dated May 15, 2021 clarified the same decision was taken after a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities. The same was decided after reviewing the surge of COVID-19 pandemic in the country and keeping in view the health and safety of all stakeholders of CLAT.

Earlier this CLAT – 2021 exam was scheduled on May 09, 2021. Later it was postponed to June 15 keeping in mind the COVID -19 surge. The next date for CLAT exam will be notified later after looking into the severity of COVID - 19 pandemic in the country and in consultation with the Government. The date for filling CLAT (UG & PG) forms is also extended to June 15.
